Welcome to ChatMew ("we", "our", or "us"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you access or use the ChatMew mobile application, websites, and associated services.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account and use ChatMew, we collect information necessary to provide and improve our social audio and gaming services:
- Account Profile Information: Display name, profile picture/avatar, gender, age/birthday, biography, and unique ChatMew User ID.
- Third-Party Authentication: When you log in with Google, Apple ID, or Facebook Login, we collect your authorized public profile data (e.g. name, email, profile photo) as permitted by you.
- Voice & Audio Data: Temporary real-time audio streams are routed through Agora RTC for live room communication. Audio streams are not recorded or stored unless flagged for moderation review.
- Transaction Data: Virtual coin purchases, Royal Pass subscriptions, and gifting records processed securely via authorized payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay, Google Play Billing, Apple IAP). We never store your full credit card or UPI PIN.
- Device & Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and app crash logs to ensure app stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To connect you to live multi-seat voice rooms and multiplayer SUD party games.
- To display your virtual gifts, level badges, and Clan leaderboard standings.
- To maintain community safety, prevent harassment, spam, and fraud through automated and human moderation.
- To provide customer support and notify you of important app updates.
3. Third-Party Services & SDKs
ChatMew integrates trusted third-party providers for core real-time functionality:
- Agora.io: Real-time voice audio transmission.
- SUD Gaming: Interactive multiplayer mini-games (Ludo, Carrom, Uno).
- Firebase / Google Play Services: Push notifications, analytics, and authentication.
- Razorpay / Google Play / Apple: Secure payment processing.
4. User Data Deletion Instructions
We fully respect your right to delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time:
Web Deletion Portal (Google Play Policy Compliant): You can submit an instant deletion request online via our dedicated Account Deletion & Data Wipe Portal.
In-App Deletion: Go to Profile → Settings → Account Security → Delete Account. Confirming deletion will permanently erase your profile, messages, friends, and uploaded moments.
Email Request: You can also email us at privacy@chatmew.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your ChatMew User ID. Our compliance team will process your request within 48 hours.
5. Community Guidelines & Safety
ChatMew strictly prohibits hate speech, sexual exploitation, harassment, abusive behavior, and illegal activities in voice rooms or chats. Violators will be subject to instant room bans, mic mutes, and permanent account termination.
